Choice of three RAMCO® materials:

  • Polypropylene (PPL)
  • Teflon ** (TFE)
  • TFE/ECTFE ("See-Thru" Shield permits direct visualization -- no need for indicating patch)** Du Pont
  • Designed for all pipe connections: flanges, valves, expansion joints, threaded connections, etc.
  • Available in ANSI, DIN, JIS and BS Standards

RAMCO® METAL SAFETY SHIELD

  1. Suitable for high pressure and temperature systems
  2. Designed for flanges and valves on lines carrying solvents, chemicals, corrosives and steam
  3. Overlapping slotted edge prevents lateral blowout
  4. Spacer rods create flow space to dissipate pressure
  5. Available with anti-mist mesh liner
  6. Quickly installed - only a screwdriver required


7. Choice of three 24 gauge steels: Galvanized Steel:

  • " 304" Stainless Steel
  • " 316" Stainless Steel

  1. Designed for systems carrying hazardous chemicals or corrosives when capture and retrieval are required
  2. Threaded nipple accommodates hose or pipe connection to receptacle for liquid retrieval and secondary containment
  3. Confines sprayout within safety shield
  4. Manufactured in "304" and "316" Stainless Steel (Suitable for high pressure and temperature systems)
  5. Crafted for flanges and valves

Stainless Steel LINED DRAIN-GARD® Safety Shields




  1. Fabricated of 24 gauge "304" or "316"
  2. Fitted with special gasket liners, such as BUNA-N, inside the shield
  3. Slips over existing pipe installations and is drawn tightly over the outside diameter of the flange by stainless steel straps
  4. Chemical liquid or vapor leaks channeled between flanges to nipple for collection
  5. Installs quickly, only a screwdriver required
  6. Available in most gasket materials
  7. An alarm may be attached at the end of the nipple
  8. Available in ANSI and DN sizes
